School fundraising ideas

Many educational institutions in the UK find it difficult to purchase all the equipment that they would like to have for their students to use, owing to the limited budgets that they are allocated by the government. Parent-teacher associations have been aware of this problem for many years and have tried a number of methods to raise additional funds for the schools that they represent. Fetes, fun runs, jumble sales and school dances have all been organised in an effort to generate income that can be used to buy new books, playground apparatus and other items that may be needed. Nowadays, thanks to the explosive growth of the Internet over the last couple of decades, schools and other good causes can take advantage of some of the innovative ideas for fundraising online that involve free activities and will help them to accumulate cash throughout the year with little or no effort required on their part. These activities are free in the sense that the schools incur no cost; a percentage of the sale price that Internet shoppers pay when buying items from participating stores is donated to us, which we then pass on to the organisations that the shopper chooses.

Everybody wins

The beauty of a system where retailers pass on a percentage of the money spent by shoppers that register with us is that everybody is happy with the outcome. The online store makes a sale and therefore a profit, the shopper gets the item that they wanted to buy and the charity or educational institution that they support is able to receive donations from these commercial transactions. Fundraising for schools is likely to continue for some time to come as raising money seems to be a constant theme at PTA meetings around the country. With this in mind, we wanted to provide a simple way for parents and teachers to generate money, without the need for anybody to give up hours of their free time in order to achieve their financial objectives. It is very easy to register your charity or school with us and even easier to register as a giver and start to make purchases via our system in order to contribute to the organisation of your choice. Because so many people shop online, our site is perfect for consumers that wish to buy what they need and give for free.
