The MicroLoan Foundation are a microfinance charity operating in rural and peri-urban areas of Africa.

Our mission is to alleviate poverty through giving a hand up, not a hand out. We empower women in poverty to start their own businesses by giving them essential business training and the capital to start a business and getting a regular income. Once they are setup, they repay the money and we start the process with another woman. And so on.
