Win tickets for Cazfest
We have launched a new competition to win tickets for Cazfest 2012 for local schools and charities in the Bishop’s Stortford and surrounding areas and would love you to join in the fun.
As the TGM rep at my local school, I will be asking them to advertise this competition to raise awareness for Cazfest but also to encourage people to join TheGivingMachine in support of my school – you could do the same for your school or charity.
By simply registering a thank you message before June 22nd on our Blog, Facebook, Twitter or by e-mail - to a friend, relative, teacher or colleague you will be entered into our Cazfest competition to win 2 pairs of tickets to Cazfest in Bishop’s Stortford on 7th July 2012. Enter as many messages as you would like and we will pick the best of them - winners will be contacted and announced on Monday 25th June 2012.
Cazfest was established in memory of The Bishop’s Stortford High School student Caroline Johnstone, who died aged 17 from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2008. Approximately 12 young people die each week from undiagnosed heart conditions that can be treated. Tragedies like Caroline’s can be prevented through heart screening. Cazfest’s aim is to generate awareness of heart risk in young people and promote the benefits and importance of heart screening.
The day itself is a family oriented one day festival which aims to provide music and entertainment for all ages in a safe and relaxing environment. Along with a wide range of young and up and coming talent, headline bands this year include: Scouting for Girls, the Hoosiers, Ed Drewitt, Peatbog Faeries and S-Club-TheReunion.
You could also support Cazfest every time you make an internet purchase by joining TheGivingMachine as a Giver, choosing Cazfest as your beneficiary and shopping via our website http://www.thegivingmachine.co.uk/cazfest With over 420+ stores including Nike, iTunes, Topman, Amazon, Play.com, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer you will be able to make a cash donation to your favourite school or charity every time you shop and it won’t cost you a penny! You shop, the retailer donates, Cazfest can help more teenagers - money for nothing!
Good luck!
