What a difference a day makes. Happy Days Children’s Charity has been working in communities throughout the UK since 1992 to support courageous kids with additional needs with simple but vital respite breaks. At a time of economic uncertainty, cuts to care support and fears of unemployment, families who already struggle are facing even harder times and a simple day out to relieve the stresses and strains of life can often be beyond their means. Last year, Happy Days helped over 23,000 children with life-limiting illnesses, mental and physical disabilities and those who had suffered abuse and neglect with days out to the seaside, the theatre, farm parks and zoos. We also supported brave children who had lost a parent or sibling and young carers taking on the responsibility of looking after a member of their family. Happy Days receives no government funding and we rely on the support of people just like you to continue our vital work. We can support a memorable experience for a child with additional needs for as little as £10, so every penny really does make a difference. Thank you!
