Do you want to make a real difference in Darfur? Kids for Kids is virtually the only organisation helping children who are living in remote villages in Darfur, Sudan, through long-term, sustainable projects. All projects are identified and run by the communities themselves. Our main project is a goat loan, as milk prevents malnutrition and starvation, plus women can earn an income from selling surplus milk at market. We build clean water hand pumps close to villages and provide donkeys for transport as there are no roads in Darfur. We train midwives and first aid workers as there is no healthcare in villages. Our environmental projects include the extensive planting of drought resistant trees to reforest the desert, and provide shade and byproducts to communities. To date Kids for Kids' projects are reaching over 550,000 people in 100 villages. Please help us continue to help more families out of poverty.
