St Elizabeth's is a charity that supports children and young people with severe epilepsy and other neurological conditions. Our specialist education, residential and medical services help service-users to reach their full potential in a supportive and inspiring environment. The 65 acre site hosts a residential non-maintained special school for children and young people age 5-19 years; A College for learners in the 19-25 age range who aspire to lead more independent lifestyles, living in their own flatlets on and off site; and a vast Day Opportunities programme for adults aged 18 years and over.
St Elizabeth’s was formerly administered by the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liege (Registered Charity Number 1068661), but on 1st October we became a charity in our own right – the St Elizabeth’s Centre – with a new Trustee Board and a new Charity Number (1176777). Our services, mission and vision remaining unchanged, and we continue to maintain strong links with the Daughters of the Cross, but this new Governance structure provides us with a strong foundation to look to the future.
Yes, I am a UK tax payer and am happy for my donations to be gift aided.
The legal bit: You must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital
Gains
Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations across all
Charities,
it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
TheGivingMachine reclaims 25p for every £1 you donate from the tax you pay for the current tax year so
we
can give even more away to causes you choose. If you change your name, address or tax status, please do
let us know.
