Witney Radio is a Community Radio station based in Witney in West Oxfordshire. We are a Community Interest Company and run and managed entirely by volunteers. Witney Radio worked for 4 years as an online radio station, covering local events such as the Witney Beer Festival, Witney Feast, Carterton Christmas Lights, Witney Carnival, Cornbury Music Festival, Finstock Beer and Cider Festival and Nor Lye Music festival to name but a few. After years of hard work in October 2015 Witney Radio submitted an application to become and community FM radio station to OFCOM. In the following April we found out we were successful and this year in July 2017 Witney Radio raised the funds to buy the equipment and became a fully-fledged community Radio station. As a Community organisation run by volunteers Witney Radio relies on donations, advertising and any other revenue it can generate to keep the station on Air and broadcasting to the people of West Oxfordshire and Witney. Now you can generate free donations for us every time you shop online via TheGivingMachine. Sign up and get started now or browse the huge range of shops that are participating. Yes, I am a UK tax payer and am happy for my donations to be gift aided.
The legal bit: You must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital
Gains
Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations across all
Charities,
it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
TheGivingMachine reclaims 25p for every £1 you donate from the tax you pay for the current tax year so
we
can give even more away to causes you choose. If you change your name, address or tax status, please do
let us know.
