BSHC are working with Herts & Essex High School to create a new Sports Hall complex, including Astroturf, Dojo/Dance hall, netball/tennis courts, parking and changing facilities, all for use by the local community outside of school hours. Work on Phase 1 is fully funded and in progress, being due for completion in May 2019, consisting of all works apart from the Hockey astroturf pitch The part of the project BSHC is fundraising for is Phase 2, the creation of a floodlit Hockey AstroTurf pitch and associated equipment, which will be a joint funded and owned facility between BSHC and Herts & Essex High School. Works on site for this phase will be commenced in May 2019 for completion by September 2019. The total cost of Phase 2 will be £750,000.00 with BSHC contribution to this being £300,000.00.
