Richard has been nominated for The Guardian’s “Unsung Hero for 2015” – with the winner being announced on 29th April. This award is being given to “an employee in the engine room of sustainability who has gone beyond the call of duty to drive change in their organisation, and perhaps has not been given the credit deserved”. Whilst there are some very strong contenders, we think our Richard Morris totally deserves to win – and we ask for your help in making this happen.

TheGivingMachine impacts more than 8,000 charities, 80,000 consumers and more than 1,500 retailers – with more than 1.2 Million free donations totaling nearly £900,000.

Richard and the family that is TheGivingMachine work tirelessly to help online shoppers to give to their favourite charities, at no cost to themselves. Affiliate payments from online retailers are leveraged – who in turn benefit from increased sales, and probably more importantly a strong connection with their customers, through sustainable support of local and national causes across the UK. He calls this “givenomics” and it is about building sustainability within commercial enterprises so there are powerful outcomes for good.

This award for Richard would be fantastic recognition for the work all at TheGivingMachine do so please give him your vote!
