Not Fussed about the Footie?

So, you may have noticed there’s a big football tournament on at the moment. And it’s set to continue for the next month. Now, I’m not averse to watching the odd game of football, and I’ll definitely be cheering on the home nations, but I draw the line at watching Iceland vs Hungary on a Saturday night.

So, if like me, your other half is adamant they’re watching every single match (and post-match commentary), here are a few ideas to make the next month a bit more bearable.

feetJust relax

Why not put your feet up and get them sandal ready? A bit of a cliché maybe, but it’s not something I can do whilst absorbed in an episode of Game of Thrones. And why not chuck a facemask on whilst you’re at it?

90 minutes (or 105 if you include half time) is the perfect amount of time to curl up with a good book and immerse yourself in someone else’s world.

Theatre show

Why not escape for the night and watch something truly fab? There’s nothing like watching a show live, be it a musical, comedy or drama.

If escaping for the evening isn’t going to cut it, then you could always disappear for longer! Enjoy some proper head-to-toe pampering and return feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
