lookfantastic sent a wonderful Valentine’s Day treat to the TGM headquarters today and I was more than happy to try out the lovely beauty products.
This limited-edition Rose Collection comes in a beautiful pink heart shaped box and immediately you know you have received something special which feels indulgent.
The first thing to catch my eye is the Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel. This shower gel smells and feels gorgeous. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised and the fragrance lingers delightfully during the day.
Next to try is the Pixi Rose Tonic. I have quite sensitive skin so tested this product with caution, but it left my face feeling clean and hydrated. I loved the subtle rose scent and will definitely be including this product in my daily routine.
The Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator is exactly that – gentle. This was a treat to use and you just need a tiny amount. Using this once a week as recommended the 50ml tube will last for ages. Again it has the most gorgeous smell and it left my skin feeling really smooth after just one use.
The Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist is a real surprise, it is a very light mist which wakes up your skin leaving you feeling rejuvenated in an instant. It is great to keep in your handbag for a quick spray as you need it and leaves a lovely delicate rose scent.
The Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumizing Paste with Pure Rassoul Clay and Rose Extracts is like a mud pack for your hair. It has a thick paste like texture which feels a little like a sugar scrub but when you apply to wet hair and massage in, it turns into more of a foam. My hair is fine and lacks volume so I was very excited to try this product and I’m happy to say I wasn’t disappointed. I added the paste and massaged it into my hair and then waited a couple of minutes before rinsing off, I didn’t have the conditioner which goes with this so just applied a small amount of my usual conditioner, just at the ends. My hair felt and looked fuller.
I was really pleased to see The Aurelia Miracle Cleanser was in the collection as I was keen to try this product as I had heard good reviews about it. It is a very gentle cleanser which leaves skins feeling clean and refreshed. You add this to dry skin and gentle massage into your face and neck before using the super soft muslin to remove the cleanser. I loved how clean my face felt without it feeling dry.
I used the Claudalie Vinosouce Moisturising Sorbet in the morning and evening after cleansing. It feels quite calming and is a gentle gel like cream. It left my skin feel hydrated and smooth. It has a lovely delicate smell and is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.
