If you’re interested in Classic Cars, how about taking a visit to Powderham Castle in Exeter over the weekend of 11th/12th July for an Historic Vehicle Gathering? You might even get to see a rare Olympic Gold medal winning car from the 1936 German Olympic Games – the 1934 Singer 1.5 Litre Le Mans.

TheGivingMachine Team are excited to be involved in this fab weekend, for as well as showcasing some truly stunning Classic Cars, the event will also be raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance, Children’s Hospice South West, TS Exeter Sea Cadet Corps and Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education. We love the fact that as well as a great day out, some well deserving causes get to benefit too thanks to the generosity of the Crash Box and Classic Car Club of Devon  (who have already donated more than £150,000, primarily to local charities!).

Visitors will also be able to see a free donation paid to a charity or school of their choice through TheGivingMachine, who work with over 8,000 charities and schools around the UK and help them raise funds for free – click here for more information on how to vote for your favourite cause.

A growing annual event, the Historic Vehicle Gathering has become established as one of the largest historic vehicle rallies in the South West and is organised by the Crash Box & Classic Car Club of Devon. The annual rally attracts around 1,400 vehicles ranging from steamers to classic motorbikes, cars and commercial vehicles. This year the theme of family fun will see new attractions such as a light hearted fun dog show, bands playing on both days and vehicle exhibitors wearing period dress.
