Volunteer Marketing and PR Coordinator hero wanted

TheGivingMachine is based on a simple but powerful idea – by making giving free and easy, we can change our communities and beyond.

Our charity is seeking a volunteer with experience in communications, public relations, marketing and/or fundraising to assist with projects and initiatives.

Tasks may include:
• Writing and editing of communications materials including external, internal and electronic newsletters, press releases, and volunteer letters
• Supporting the development of new communication strategies, including more web-based, interactive strategies and social media
• Assistance with marketing programmes
• General support of marketing activities

Location: 14a Grange Park, Bishop’s Stortford CM23 2HX and/or remote working via own pc

Hours: 4-6 hours a week estimated

Qualifications/ Special Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to organize are required. Must be friendly, professional, flexible as well as eager to assist and offer new ideas.
