We test a Beauty Egg Beauty Box from lookfantastic

lookfantastic got in touch and asked us to review their latest Beauty Box. As you can imagine we were delighted to help out.

The Beauty Box we are reviewing is the Beauty Egg and was really impressive when it arrived in the office. We knew we were in for a treat straightaway.

The gorgeous green box is tied with a ribbon and can be kept and used for storage. When you lift the lid you are greeted by 7 individual metal eggs. Each egg contains a luxury beauty treat which we couldn’t wait to put to the test.

The first beauty treat we tested was the AromaWorks Absolute Eye Serum. This serum rejuvenates the delicate eye area with an anti-ageing formula that smooths and moisturises the skin. When tested we found the serum to have a nice clean fragrance and was absorbed very quickly into the eye area leaving the skin feeling really nice and soft. This can also be used as a face mask which we tested, leaving it on over night, in the morning our skin felt refreshed, smooth and moisturised.

Next we tested the Foreo Luna Play. This cute facial cleansing device comes in its own case and is easily portable. The idea is that the Foreo Luna Play cleanses and exfoliates in one step and we were not disappointed. There are different silicone bristles to suit both sensitive and normal skin. After trying this out our skin definately felt cleaner and a little like we’d had a spa treatment!

The Elemis Overnight Matrix Marine Cream comes in a gorgeous pot and smells luxurious. The cream feels light on our skin and not at all greasy. It is quick to absorb and left our face feels really smooth.  After just one night our skin felt firmer so we are keen to continue using this cream every day.

Next to be tested was the delightful Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar. This cleansing bar comes in its own stylish soap dish which would look good in any bathroom or toiletry bag. When we used this cleansing bar we got a lovely rich lather which once rinsed off left our skin feeling smooth and moisterised.

Now on to testing the Bareminerals Good Hydrations Silky Face Primer.  This primer is absolutely perfect for applying before make-up and hydrates the skins, leaving it feeling refreshed. We found that after applying the primer, our make-up went on smother and lasted longer.

The Color Wow Color Security Shampoo and Dream Coat Supernatural Spray is a fantastic hair duo which really compliment each other. The shampoo smells delicious and gives a great lather when massaged into hair. After using it just once, it left our hair feeling clean, light and bright and a small amount goes a long way. The Supernatural Spray leaves hair looking really sleek without looking or feeling greasy.

And last but certainly not least the Laura Geller Dewdreamer Illuminating Drops. This little bottle of wonder smells heavenly and when applied to skin gives a gorgeous glow.  When we tested this we added it to bare skin and gentle rubbed it in. It gave us a lovely sunkissed glow and left our skin feeling really soft all day.
