Long Lane Primary is a Community School, built in 1966 and maintained by West Berkshire Council. This is a very popular school. There are around 275 children on roll aged between 4 and 11 years old who are taught in nine classes . We invest heavily in Teaching Assistants, who support the work of whole classes, small groups, and individual children. The School Vision states that at the end of
r time at Long Lane Primary School, all our children will take with them a love of learning by having: - a high standard of core academic knowledge and skills the ability and desire to build on their knowledge and skills - a strong set of practical, social and emotional life skills - a sense of personal achievement - a sense of personal pride in themselves, their school and their community.
