Edenbridge Cricket Club a friendly village cricket club based at a lovely ground in the heart of the Garden of England.
We are a Community Amateur Sports Club and have been raising funds for a new cricket pavilion in memory of Matthew Cox who sadly died at the age of 21 in 2015. We are proud to have opened the Matthew Cox Community Pavilion in May 2019, but we still need to raise more funds to repay our England and Wales Cricket Board Loan and to continue to invest in the Club.
We have a fast growing junior section and run the popular All Stars Programme to introduce cricket to 5-8 year olds and this year will be running the new Dynamos programmes for 8-11 year olds. We also have a women's section which will be playing in softball cricket festivals over the summer. We also run two Saturday teams and a Sunday Academy side mixing adults and junior members together.
Yes, I am a UK tax payer and am happy for my donations to be gift aided.
The legal bit: You must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital
Gains
Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations across all
Charities,
it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
TheGivingMachine reclaims 25p for every £1 you donate from the tax you pay for the current tax year so
we
can give even more away to causes you choose. If you change your name, address or tax status, please do
let us know.
