Make a Lasting Difference — Every Month
Big change starts with small, consistent acts of kindness
Our mission is to provide funding opportunities for all good causes to ensure their sustainable future. Help us carry out our mission by becoming a monthly donor.
This would enable us to plan ahead, and give more Community Grants to the organisations who need them the most.
For just £10, £20 or £30 a month, you can be part of our giving community and see the impact you are making direct from the good causes you will be supporting.
Community Grants
Each quarter we will have 8 x £250 unresticted grants available for good causes to apply for. We have made it as easy as possible for good causes to apply for one of these grants by taking all the usual criteria associated with grants away. The only criteria is that the good cause is based in the UK with an income of less than £1m.
Because of your support, we’re able to reach more causes and give more. You’re not just helping us, you’re helping create real change and are making an impact to our communities.
Here are the type of causes you will be supporting
An application from a charity supporting Veterans
£250 would enable them to provide food for veterans and their families.
"We would spend the money on food for our veterans breakfast which is free for any veteran and their families. The funding will ensure that veterans are not socially isolated and not feel embarrassed if they can't afford a breakfast. We make it free to everyone for this reason."
An application from a school to support their Breakfast and Afterschool club
£250 would enable them to purchase new equipment for fun activities.
"We are starting a Breakfast and Afterschool club. New equipment will give our children more opportunities to try new activities, get creative and increase exercise/fitness. We love to spend time outside so enriching the outdoor space would be a huge benefit. Our long term aim is to create outdoor forest school style areas where children can build dens get creative and let their imaginations run free."
An application from a charity supporting children with cancer
£250 would enable them to support families of children with cancer.
"We would use the £250 to purchase supermarket vouchers to support families impacted by childhood cancer. This will make a difference to families struggling with food poverty. This will enable families to purchase nutritional food for the whole family without having to fall behind with bills in order to eat well."
An application from a charity supporting families
£250 would enable them to support families with their fresh food holiday pop up shop.
"We provide enough food per family for 3 main meals and 5 lunches, offer recipes, nutritional information and the use of slow cookers etc. We order the food and the families arrive to collect the food. The funding goes directly to the food purchases and our volunteers run the session. Many of the families we support are working families, with no access to government vouchers. The summer holidays cause the most distress to parents."
An application from a charity supporting rescue dogs
£250 would enable them to provide 8 behaviourist session for their longer term dogs in kennels, to get them ready for their forever home.
"We have paid out over £20k in the last month on vet bills, we rely on fundraising, donation and grants to fund our Rescue. £250 would make a huge difference and would have a positive impact on our longer term dogs in kennels or neuter a dog. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed and chipped."
